Do you know, if the Tott-Soky family has any connection to the oldest Nordic noble and Royal family of Thott/ Tott? The oldest member with written references dates to year 296 AD! The oral saga histories go even further. Members of the originally Danish Scanian family lives in all Nordic countries and even Russia.

Quite a few of the Tott family members fought in the 30-year war in Central Europe, in the Swedish Royal army. Some of them quit the protestant side, and joined the Catholic side.

      Hello!
From what I know, our family doesn’t have any link with north families including royal ones. And because Paul and Joannes, first known members of this family was ennobled in 1647, it means they was noble before this date and much less royal.

Be carefull, Toth is a very common name in Hungary kingdom.

Is a certain Jouvelin de Tott of France, around 1567 a member of the very same Tott of Hungary?
